چکیده

Metasurfaces with sub-wavelength nanoscale features have emerged as a platform to achieve desirable electromagnetic responses. However, it remains technically challenging fabricate metasurfaces in large size and at low cost for mass production. This work demonstrates 200 mm wafer-scale Al:ZnO metasurface coating based on deep-UV lithography. The are targeted infrared (IR) reflectivity emissivity characteristics bandwidths across the two atmospheric windows IR spectrum. wafers demonstrate high uniformity of optical response tailored around 50% 3–5 µm mid-wave band less than 10% 8–13 long-wave band. article furthermore shows that design principle allows achieving wide range dual-band values using single underlying materials stack, offering versatile platform. proposed approach is compatible CMOS-compatible mass-production manufacturing brings coatings closer commercially relevant scalable technology.

Controlling the Polarization State of Light with Plasmonic Metal Oxide Metasurface.

Conventional plasmonic materials, namely noble metals, hamper the realization of practical plasmonic devices due to their intrinsic limitations, such as lack of capabilities to tune in real-time their optical properties, failure to assimilate with CMOS-standards, and severe degradation at elevated temperatures. Transparent conducting oxides (TCOs) is a promising alternative as plasmonic materia...

Dust Emissivity in the Far - Infrared

We have derived the dust emissivity in the FarInfrared (FIR) using data available in the literature. We use two wavelength dependences derived from spectra of Galactic FIR emission (Reach et al. 1995). A value for the emissivity, normalised to the extinction efficiency in the V band, has been retrieved from maps of Galactic FIR emission, dust temperature and extinction (Schlegel et al. 1998). O...

Near Infrared Plasmonic Gas Sensing with Doped Metal Oxide Nanocrystals

In this paper, we demonstrate the application of ZnO doped with gallium (GZO), aluminum (AZO) and germanium (GeZO) nanocrystals as novel plasmonic and chemiresistive sensors for the detection of hazardous gases including hydrogen (H2) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2). GZO, AZO and GeZO nanocrystals are obtained by non-aqueous colloidal heat-up synthesis with high transparency in the visible range and...

Near-infrared spatial solitons in heavy metal oxide glasses.

We demonstrate two-dimensional spatial solitons excited by near-infrared picosecond pulses in Kerr-like heavy metal oxide glasses with a nonlinearity one order of magnitude larger than in fused silica. Solitons were obtained at 820 nm owing to the presence of multiphoton absorption, which prevented catastrophic collapse.

Retrieving Infrared Land Surface Emissivity With AIRS Simulation Data

This report reviews briefly the characteristics of high spectral resolution satellite infrared remote sensing. The paper also describes the use of EOS-Aqua AIRS measurements to characterize the surface properties important for IR thermal emission. Infrared rapid transmittance model is used for the sensitivity study of surface parameters and the atmospheric parameters from lower troposphere. Six...
